Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy

In accordance with both international and local regulations, Ant.Exchange implements effective internal procedures to prevent any illegal activities and undertakes all necessary measures to comply with applicable laws. Ant.Exchange adheres to best practices in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing, as well as the “Know Your Customer” (KYC) policy.

This AML/KYC Policy covers the following:

Verification procedures;
Transaction monitoring;
Risk assessment.

1. Verification Procedures

1.1. Identity Verification

The Ant.Exchange verification procedure requires Users to submit genuine documents (such as an international passport, bank statement, utility bill, etc.). Ant.Exchange reserves the right to collect identifying information to comply with AML and KYC requirements.

Ant.Exchange may additionally verify certain Users who raise suspicion. This process includes providing documents that verify the User’s identity.

For Individuals:

To confirm identity, the User must provide one of the following:

National passport;
International passport;
ID card.

To confirm address, the User must provide one of the following documents clearly showing their actual residential address:

Bank statement;
Utility bill;
Tax documents;
Document issued by local authorities.

For Corporate Clients:

To confirm the director’s identity, the User must provide one of the following:

National passport;
International passport;
ID card.

To confirm address — same as for individuals.
To verify an authorized representative, the User must provide all of the following:

Document confirming the company’s registered address;
Certificate of incorporation;
Director’s appointment order;
Scanned copy or photo of the resolution letter deciding to work with Ant.Exchange.

Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) Information:

National passport, international passport, or ID card of the UBO;
Document confirming the UBO’s address.
The UBO, according to Cyprus law, is any natural person who ultimately owns or controls the User’s account and/or on whose behalf transactions are conducted.

1.2. Bank Card Verification

Users wishing to exchange funds involving bank cards must verify their cards in advance. Detailed instructions for card verification are available on the Ant.Exchange website.

2. Transaction Monitoring

User checks are performed not only through identity verification but also through transaction analysis. Therefore, Ant.Exchange relies on data analysis to assess risk and detect suspicious User activities.

Ant.Exchange collects data, filters it, keeps records, conducts investigations, and prepares reports. Within the AML/KYC policy, Ant.Exchange reserves the right to:

Request any additional information or documents from the User if transactions appear suspicious;
Suspend or block the User’s account if there are reasonable grounds to believe that the User is engaged in illegal activities.

This list is not exhaustive. Operations will be monitored daily to assess whether transactions should be considered suspicious.

3. Risk Assessment

In accordance with international requirements, Ant.Exchange screens transactions using AML services. A transaction may be declined if the total risk exceeds 50%. The Service may also refuse to provide services if the risk score exceeds 1.5% in any of the following categories:

Dark Service: Coins related to child exploitation, terrorism financing, or drug trafficking.
Dark Market: Coins used for purchases on darknet markets.
Scam: Coins obtained through fraud.
Mixer: Coins that were processed through a mixing service to obscure their origin (commonly used for money laundering).
Illegal Service: Coins connected with illegal activities.
Ransom: Coins obtained through extortion or blackmail.
Exchange Fraudulent: Coins from exchanges associated with fraud, illegal activity, or assets seized by governments.
Stolen: Stolen coins.
Gambling: Coins connected with unlicensed online casinos.

⚠️ Important Notice:

All transfers involving suspicious services are subject to mandatory AML checks in line with applicable regulations to ensure the security of financial operations.

Use of the following platforms and services may result in a transaction being blocked and subject to additional checks:

⚡ Please note that transactions involving Russian exchanges, wallets, or payment services that directly or indirectly operate under the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation are strictly prohibited and subject to mandatory AML review. Such transfers may be held, blocked, or returned to the sender without explanation.

If a transaction is determined to be high-risk, the User must complete KYC verification to confirm their identity.

4. Exchange Operations

Ant.Exchange strictly prohibits the use of its services for money laundering, terrorism financing, any kind of fraud, or for purchasing prohibited goods or services.

To prevent illegal transactions, the Service sets the following requirements for all orders placed by the User:

4.1. The sender and recipient must be the same person. Transfers to third parties using the Service are strictly prohibited.

4.2. All contact and personal information provided by the User must be accurate and up to date. Upon request, Users may request deletion of their personal data from the Service’s database within 3 years of their last completed transaction.

4.3. If there are reasonable grounds for suspicion that the User is attempting to use the Service for money laundering or any other illegal activities, the administration has the right to:

Suspend the User’s exchange operation;
Request identity verification documents;
Request additional information related to the payment.

5. Data Handling

All information provided by the User may be shared with regulatory authorities in the following cases:

Upon request from law enforcement agencies;
Based on court orders;
Upon request from payment system administrators.

Personal data includes:

Full name;
Email address;
Country of residence/citizenship;
Wallet details;
Mobile phone number;
Identity document details;
Residential address.

Processing of personal data means recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, updating (modification), extraction, use, transfer (including cross-border), anonymization, blocking, deletion, and destruction of personal data not covered by special categories that require written User consent.

Data processing is carried out to fulfill the Parties’ obligations under the Agreement, register the User on the Service Website, provide technical support, process orders, provide Services, handle inquiries and complaints, and send informational and other messages to the User’s email address.

The User’s consent is the legal basis for data processing. Consent is given through clear active actions by the User, including registering on the Service Website, providing necessary data during registration, filling out electronic forms, placing orders, making payments, or taking any other active steps using the Service.

6. Ant.Exchange Reserves the Right to:

Request additional information from the User to clarify the origin of digital assets and/or confirm that such assets were not obtained illegally.
Block the User’s account and any related operations, and transfer all information and documents regarding the incident to regulatory or law enforcement authorities in the Service’s jurisdiction and, if necessary, the Client’s jurisdiction.
Require identity documents, video verification, proof of address, and proof of solvency.
Return digital assets only to the original source account after a full security check, if the legal origin of funds can be verified.
Refuse withdrawals to third-party accounts without explanation.
Hold User funds until the incident investigation is complete.
Monitor the full transaction chain to detect suspicious activity.
Refuse to provide services if there are reasonable doubts about the legal origin of digital assets or if it is impossible to trace the full transaction chain, and to hold the funds in special Service accounts.

⚡ Note: Transactions from sanctioned exchanges (e.g., CommEx, Garantex, Hydra Market, Tornado Cash, Blender.io, Lazarus Group, Genesis Market, Rapira, ChipMixer, Shinbad.io, etc.) as well as from any Iranian exchanges (e.g., Nobitex.ir, arzpaya.com) will be held and frozen by the AML department.

Additionally, transactions related to Russian exchanges, wallets, and payment services that directly or indirectly operate under the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation are subject to mandatory AML review. Such transfers may be held, blocked, or returned to the sender without explanation.
